Was very looked after by staff and management I always have a very good stay at Yha surfers and in the future if I need accomodation I will always use this hostel as my first point of call. Thank you to all staff for looking after me during this time.

Some guests very loud in common room until 1:00 am but they were enjoying themselves..hard to sleep

Got in and reception was closed had to wait 1 hour outside for staff to come back to check in Kitchen was dirty But toilet and bedroom were ok

I don’t know what happens with this YHA but it was everything really dirty. The showers were really bad. The kitchen dirty all the times with a lot of plates dirty. One night was a lot of water camping out of the fridge. And the Maneger was really unpleasant. I didn’t stay there more days because of all those problems. I’m really sad about how a good brand with good hostels could stay in that state.

Great hostel one of the better YHA along the east coast. Not central to surfers paradise but great if you like walking and experiencing places. Also does free daily shuttle into town and back again .. absolutely brilliant.

Not so bad not so good. The room was not spacious enough to organize things. And not so near to main tourist destinations.

We review these ratings daily, and publish any comments whether they are good or bad. However, there are a few instances where we will not publish comments online:

INAPPROPRIATE OR OFFENSIVE COMMENTS

We will not publish inappropriate and/or offensive comments.

Inappropriate or offensive comments include, but are not limited to, personal harassment or discrediting of YHA staff, hate speech, sexually explicit language, swearing or references to illicit drug usage.

UNSUBSTANTIATED OR INCORRECT CLAIMS

We will not publish any comments that are not directly related to the hostel, or your experience during your stay.

Hostels will have the right to have negative comments removed if they can prove that claims are unsubstantiated, incorrect or you did not stay at the hostel that you are commenting on.

COMMENTS INCLUDING STAFF NAMES

We will not publish comments that include full staff names, irrespective of whether your comment is positive or negative.

First names of staff will be published in positive comments only.

If you make a negative comment, we will remove any reference to particular staff members.
