Coles Bay with its rugged and beautiful Freycinet Peninsula is one of Tasmania’s most popular destinations. Here you will discover picturesque Wineglass Bay, voted one of the world’s most stunning beaches, with its well-formed walking track through granite outcrops. The fishing port of St. Helens has a relaxed atmosphere and pretty places to unwind. Then travel north-west to Bridport, another seaside village, where you can explore the river by canoe or visit the nearby lavender farm.
Bridport YHA is a purpose-built hostel and is located opposite the river estuary. It is only a few minutes walk from the hostel to the beach, bakery, cheap eats, post office, internet cafe and shops.
DetailsSituated in the Coles Bay Township, 1km from the Freycinet National Park, the Iluka Backpackers YHA is over the road from Muirs Beach. On-site facilities at the hostel include tavern/bistro and bakery. There is also a playground for children.
